Max Speed app for iPhone and iPad
Max Speed is a GPS app to log your fastest speed, elapsed time and distance on a trial run. You can also map a route traveled and export a GPX file of your route.

Its a great free app.
reason1:can work on the back ground of other apps.
2:proximity sensor can work and the back light is soon turned off when touching off the phone so that the battery consumption is saved.
3:all the sensors are relatively correct.
Compared the reading to that of my car speedo. The reading on the app was almost identical at 30 and 60 mph
Havent tested at higher speeds but I would expect accuracy to be the same at higher speeds
I love this app!! Accurate at all speeds over 5mph!! Plus its free!!! Totally recomend this!!!
This is the only app I use to get the most accurate reading when Im out on the water.

Checked the accuracy with the car speedometer and it was DEAD ON
Awesome app used it to find out how fast my RC car goes, speed is a little off , i was siting and it said i was moving
Some bad moments
The App is not working anymore! Cant click agree to terms! Used to be good App in deleting dont wast your time find another one!
